Full-Time Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Conducting thorough research and analysis to support decision-making processes.

• Assisting in the training and mentoring of new team members.

You’re our perfect candidate if you:

• AWS or Google Cloud Expertise: Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure. Ensure compliance with security best practices. Monitor resource usage and implement cost optimization strategies.
• Automation: Experience administrating Jenkins and scripting with Bash, Python, etc.
• Monitoring, observability and Troubleshooting: Monitor CPU and RAM usage, troubleshoot issues, correlate traces, metrics, and logs. Implement observability tools.
• Monitor and optimize relational database connections (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL).
• Collaborate with development teams in SDLC.
• Communicate technical information effectively.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in SRE/DevOps role or a related field.
• Strong understanding of AWS or GCP services and infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of system performance monitoring tools.
• Proven track record of managing complex environments and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc) and git.
• Experience with shell scripting, python and/or automation tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
