As a Site Reliability Engineer (GCP), you'll play a key role in designing, creating, deploying, maintaining, and growing industry-leading Cloud Infrastructure, Big Data Analytics, and Cloud For Marketing products, solutions, and services at Stacktics Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deployment, configuration, maintenance, and operations of a CI/CD infrastructure in the cloud.
- Streamline development environments to improve developer efficiency.
- Maintain infrastructure security through policies, protocols, and procedures, including resource provisioning, network configurations, and security/compliance.
- Identify and implement optimizations for system and application performance on Google Cloud Platform.
- Assign and monitor technical personnel, ensuring application development and deployment are done effectively, and implement quality control throughout the process.
- Maintain issue tracking and documentation systems, providing reports for issue and project visibility.
- Provide process improvement recommendations based on best practices and industry standards.
Company-Wide Responsibilities:
- Maintain client satisfaction and happiness with Stacktics' deliverables and overall value.
- Collaborate with development teams, infrastructure engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth application/service deployment, operation, and scaling on GCP.
- Cultivate company growth opportunities and expand Stacktics' role as needed.
- Adapt to changing client needs and expectations, achieving excellence in client delivery and organizational success.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.
- 5+ years of Linux/Unix administration experience.
- 3+ years in a senior SRE or DevOps role.
- Experience building, operating, and maintaining large-scale performance services.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, SQL, Cloud Computing, GCP, CI/CD, and automation.
- Understanding of networking concepts, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP), and network troubleshooting skills.
