About Owkin: Owkin is an AI company focused on exploring complex biology to accelerate research and create new treatments and diagnostics. We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer Team Lead to join our Engineering team.
About the role:
- Coordinate system administration and SRE at the team level.
- Manage a team of 6 engineers, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Define and implement SRE best practices across the organization.
- Provide technical mentorship and foster the growth of team members.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
- Oversee operational support for production systems and participate in on-call rotations.
- Facilitate architectural and technical decision-making with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Lead and support complex deployments and manage technical initiatives.
About you:
- 7+ years of industry experience with a Masters or BS degree in computer science or a related field.
- 2+ years in management roles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Fluency in English; French is a plus.
- Strong experience with a major cloud provider (AWS required).
- Expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and logging, monitoring, and alerting stacks.
- Experience in cyber security and ISO 27001.
