Contractor SMB Sales Associate

Job Summary: Goody is seeking a results-oriented SMB Sales Associate to drive new business growth. You'll focus on converting leads, generating pipeline and closing new logos. You'll introduce customers to Goody's platform, articulate value, and guide them through their first successful send.

Responsibilities:

• Own the full sales cycle from lead qualification to closing (inbound & outbound).
• Drive consultative conversations with SMB prospects to understand their gifting needs.
• Convert warm leads, respond promptly to inquiries, and nurture early-stage buyers.
• Conduct product demos and provide tailored recommendations.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Support for smooth onboarding.
• Surface trends, feedback, and objections to inform Marketing and Product.
• Accurately track activity, pipeline, and deal progress in Salesforce.
• Follow sales processes and contribute to the evolution of the SMB playbook.
• Represent Goody professionally and enthusiastically.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in sales or business development (B2B SaaS, eCommerce preferred).
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
• Comfortable managing a high volume of leads and closing deals independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce) and sales tools.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Startup and eCommerce experience a plus.

Contract Details:

• Part-time contractor role (5 hours/day, 10 AM–3 PM EST).
• Pay: $35/hr USD
• Initial engagement: 25 hours per week, potential for full-time.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
