Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead key development initiatives for Punchh.
Punchh is PAR’s industry-leading loyalty platform, designed for restaurants.
You will partner with product and technical leaders and a talented group of engineers to deliver quality, scalable, and performant solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Scrum teams through Agile ceremonies.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to analyze, design, and develop system features.
- Propose architecture and design optimizations.
- Drive implementation and ownership of technical debt roadmap.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables.
- Manage projects to meet budget, schedule, and scope.
- Drive continuous improvement with metrics and quality focus.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and coach engineers and quality assurance members.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of software development experience
- Minimum 5 years of managing software development teams
- Scrum experience and Agile knowledge
- Strong technical skills in C# / .NET
- Experience with large-scale, distributed, microservice or event-based architecture
- Cloud platform experience (AWS or Azure)
- Experience with asynchronous architectures and patterns
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with minimal supervision
