Full-Time Software Engineering Manager

• Lead and Empower Engineering Teams: Oversee and manage two engineering teams, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives.
• People Management and Development: Take responsibility for managing and supporting the individuals within your teams.
• Drive Technical Excellence and Delivery: Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to define and implement best practices.
• Provide Technical Leadership and Oversight: Act as a technical leader by offering architectural oversight.
• Analyze Metrics and Drive Continuous Improvement: Use quality metrics and development analytics to evaluate team performance.
• Innovate and Stay Current: Stay up to date with the latest tools, frameworks, and development methodologies.
• Promote Transparency and Communication: Foster an open, transparent team environment where feedback flows freely.
• Ownership and Accountability: Take ownership of the software your team builds, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and meets customer needs.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Build strong relationships with peers and collaborators across engineering, product, customer support, and sales teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline OR equivalent work experience.
• Strong hands-on engineering skills with a solid understanding of modern software development practices, including; AWS, Java, Lambda.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working across multiple teams and products.
• Proven project management experience, with the ability to effectively prioritize and deliver on multiple initiatives.
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in engineering leadership roles across at multiple teams, including hiring, mentoring, and team development.
• A strong track record of coaching and mentoring both individual contributors and peers.
• Ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve their best performance.
• Hands-on experience with scalable front-end and back-end applications.
• Experience collaborating across time zones and geographies, with a flexible and adaptable working style.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Experience in a similar role in a high-tech environment.
