Interested in joining a growing company? At Energy Solutions, we focus on large-scale energy savings. We are seeking a full-time Solar Programs Project Manager to join our Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) Department. You will assist in driving customer participation in programs incentivizing DER adoption (solar, storage, demand response, microgrids, electric vehicles). This role is part of the Consumer Protection Team supporting the Illinois Shines program, a statewide incentive program to assist Illinois residents in transitioning to solar power.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain knowledge of program requirements.
- Address consumer complaints.
- Resolve issues with solar companies.
- Identify ways to strengthen consumer protections.
- Document and categorize complaints.
- Draft pre-disciplinary letters.
- Update public reports.
- Follow SOPs for complaint resolution.
- Document statistics and report on violations.
- Review vendor marketing materials for compliance.
- Provide educational materials.
- Participate in educational workshops.
- Manage special consumer protection projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years relevant experience (or 5+ years without a degree)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of solar energy
- Customer service experience
- Spanish proficiency
- Salesforce experience
Compensation: $69,000 - $79,000 annually (commensurate with experience), generous retirement package, and excellent benefits.
