Full-Time Solar Programs Project Manager II

Interested in joining a growing company focused on the climate solution? Energy Solutions seeks a full-time Solar Programs, Project Manager II to join our Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) Department.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Program support (check-ins, feedback roundtables).
• Provide program resources to solar developers and installers.
• Collect feedback to improve program administration.
• Analyze market trends to determine program impacts.
• Partner with internal stakeholders for process improvements.
• Lead project implementation of training, feedback, and support initiatives.
• Support the Illinois Shines Mentorship Program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with energy focus (renewable energy policy, small business admin, mechanical/electrical engineering preferred).
• 5+ years of work experience.
• Small Distributed Generation solar market knowledge.
• Solar incentive programs knowledge (Illinois Shines).
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Quantitative solar market reporting and analysis skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Project management training/certification a plus.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Slack, Salesforce, or SharePoint (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and manage quality.
• Willingness to travel.
