About the role
Seqera is in an exciting phase of growth, expanding our Professional Services team to better serve our customers and drive innovation in life sciences research.
As a Solution Delivery Manager, you will apply technical project management expertise and bioinformatics knowledge to deliver seamless projects and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
This role requires a hands-on approach to solution delivery. You will directly engage with customers to understand their workflows and scientific use cases, drive projects, deliver fundamental training, and collaborate closely with Seqera’s Scientific Development, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams to deliver exceptional results.
What you'll do
- Manage the implementation of Seqera's solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation.
- Understand customer workflows and scientific use cases.
- Deliver training sessions on Seqera's platform.
- Work closely with Technical Architects, Scientific Development, and Product teams.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of implementation playbooks.
- Identify and resolve issues efficiently, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
About you
- Degree in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Proven ability to manage complex technical projects.
- Familiarity with workflow management languages (Nextflow, Snakemake, WDL), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and NGS data workflows.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with research-oriented software products in the life sciences field.
