Full-Time SQL DBA Support Specialist

• Provide SQL DBA support in a dynamic IT environment.
• Resolve complex SQL Server technical issues for internal customers.
• Support all internal systems and applications issues.
• Provide remote support including end-user support and business systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL servers.
• Perform daily administrative tasks such as monitoring alerts and backups.
• Implement security requests and manage support tickets.
• Create and maintain documentation for each database.
• Debug the system for issues and provide clarity/workarounds.
• Build automation and scripts to proactively identify issues.
• Support data replication from PROD to PRE-PROD and UAT environments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience working with SQL Server PROD environment.
• Experience with Always-On and administering MS SQL Server version 2016 or later.
• Strong knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security.
• Intermediate knowledge of networking and Windows Server.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership of production issues.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.

Mandatory skillset: Azure VM, Azure SQL, PowerBI, PowerShell Scripting, Performance Tuning, SSAS/SSIS administration.
