Full-Time Sr. Backend Fullstack Engineer

• Focus on the backend of Client platform.
• Contribute to the frontend web (Hotwire) and mobile experiences.
• Design and implement systems and features that align with both business goals and end-user needs.
• Maintain, monitor, and optimize the performance and scalability of Client’s core product and backend infrastructure.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, reliability, and security across all services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or system issues as they arise in production.
• Improve client's codebases, developer workflows, and internal tools.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams.

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend or Full-stack Engineer.
• Proficient with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience working with Javascript.
• Experience working with relational databases, mainly PostgreSQL, and ORM libraries like ActiveRecord.
• Enjoy significant ownership and take pride in your independence.
• Like to ship code and test user-facing changes swiftly and rapidly.
• Learn quickly in a new environment.
• Great communicator and collaborator.

• Commercial experience with React/React Native
• Experience or is willing to learn Hotwire / Stimulus
• Experience in the FinTech or SaaS space
• Experience working in a distributed international team(s) environment
