Oteemo is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to build automation and pipelines in an AWS serverless environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining automation and CI/CD pipelines in a serverless AWS environment.
- Managing and configuring AWS services (IAM, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, CloudFront, S3, RDS, RDS Proxy, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch).
- Optimizing and managing Lambda functions at scale (600+ Lambdas).
- Leveraging AWS CDK for infrastructure as code and GitHub Actions for build workflows.
- Working with TypeScript and other relevant programming languages (e.g., Python).
- Implementing and maintaining DynamoDB databases.
- Ensuring security, scalability, and performance across the serverless architecture.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience in large-scale serverless environments.
- Strong AWS experience (Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, CloudFront, S3, RDS, RDS Proxy, Secrets Management, KMS, CloudWatch).
- Proven experience in CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions and AWS CDK.
- Expertise in TypeScript; experience with Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with DynamoDB and other AWS serverless technologies.
Preferred Qualifications: AWS certifications are a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
