About the Team: The CookUnity Infrastructure team maintains highly available infrastructure for millions of customers, ensuring availability, reliability, and confidentiality. They support engineering teams with CI/CD pipelines, builds, infrastructure, and security.
Role: DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) architects, implements, and maintains robust cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and manage highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, EKS).
- Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (EKS).
- Develop and manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
- Write and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
- Build, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop automation scripts and tools (Kotlin, Python, Bash).
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment strategies and system observability.
- Implement and enforce security best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Use GitHub and GitHub Actions for automation.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
- 5+ years managing AWS infrastructure at scale.
- Proficiency in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters (especially AWS EKS).
- Advanced hands-on experience with ArgoCD for GitOps deployments.
- Strong development and scripting skills (Kotlin, Python, Bash).
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
- Experience with additional DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Prometheus, Datadog).
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards.
