We are seeking a Senior Manager – Project Manager, CMC, who will support the tech ops leadership team in managing cross-functional CMC teams. Operating within a virtual business model, the incumbent will be accountable for team deliverables, ensuring operational excellence with respect to timelines, budgets, and goals.
This person will be a thought partner for the CMC Lead, ensuring all key stakeholders are aligned with the overall CMC strategy. The ideal candidate will balance organization with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated CMC project plans.
- Establish operational mechanisms for communication and decision-making.
- Contribute to PM methodologies and best practices.
- Identify, define, and communicate risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects.
- Organize and plan project tasks and schedules using Smartsheet.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments.
- Manage CMC meetings, including minutes, agendas, and action items.
- Create presentations, dashboards, and reports to communicate project status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
- 5+ years of R&D or drug development project management experience.
- Proven success in cross-functional teams, with experience in manufacturing, operations, or CDMO management.
- Strong scientific background and knowledge of the Drug Development Process.
- Proficient with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Excel.
- Experience with OnePager preferred.
- Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously.
- Competency in developing and delivering CMC project plans.
- Self-directed, accomplishment-driven, and passionate.
- Experience in small molecules, and biologics drug discovery is preferred.
- Project Management certification a plus.
