Full-Time Sr. ML Engineer (Embedded Vision)

As Nex's Senior ML Engineer of Embedded Vision, you're pivotal in developing the best indoor motion tracking technology using consumer hardware. You'll be part of a team pushing the boundaries of motion gaming through state-of-the-art ML/CV algorithms. Your work will transform living rooms into interactive playgrounds. You'll report to the Head of Platform Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and deploying ML-based CV algorithms on the edge.
• Profound expertise in ML/CV algorithms.

• Staying abreast of new technologies.
• Understanding and adapting cutting-edge ML/CV techniques for embedded systems.

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and adapting ML-based CV algorithms in embedded systems.
• Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in English communication.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Deep understanding of ML/CV tools and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV).
• Strong understanding of ML theories, architectures, numerical optimization, and image processing.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages.
• Scientific mindset, substantiated claims, and arguments.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in MLOps and automation.
• Knowledge of physics modeling, computational geometry, statistics, and quantitative methods.
• Understanding of computer architectures, operating systems, and low-level programming.
• Relevant industry connections.
