Full-Time Sr. Product Manager, Accounting

• Manage product planning and backlog prioritization based on business value
• Alling product solutions and backlog to Pismo's strategy
• Support Pismo to provide solutions for financial accounting, considering different financial products, clients and models of accounting
• Responsible for entire product life cycle, from conception, design, development, testing, release and operation
• Be responsible for the conception, delivery and prioritization of product roadmap optimizing the value delivered for clients (current and future ones) and to Pismo
• Work and cooperate with multiple teams when necessary to assure that any cross squads demands are delivered in a proper and complete way
• Support product presentations and provide product expertise for addressing the best solutions for clients and markets, within the product
• Improve, with the squad and internal teams, product design that ensure scalability, performance and reliability.
• Manage expectations and deadlines for bugs, services requests and help the squad to understand the accounting 'language' to a systemic solution.

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience as product manager (product owner, or similar positions) with tech products (3 to 5 years)
• Deep experience and knowledge of accounting concepts
• Problem solving and critical thinking
• Communication skills and team working
• Specific knowledge about financial accounting for card transactions

• Knowledge of payment cycle (at least the basic)
