Full-Time Sr Program Manager Engineering & Construction

The Senior Program Manager, Engineering & Construction oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale fiber network deployment projects, with a focus on Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) and private housing developments. This role manages end-to-end project delivery — including scheduling, vendor management, and performance tracking — to ensure on-time, on-budget completion of complex fiber builds.

1. Lead program management for the development and monitoring of engineering and construction build plans.
2. Oversee and manage the full project lifecycle across all vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders.
3. Direct local engineers in reviewing and refining mechanized engineering designs.
4. Manage project changes related to engineering design, construction, and resource allocation.
5. Provide process support and leadership to internal network teams and external infrastructure service providers.
6. Drive cross-functional process improvements to optimize fiber build efficiency and execution.
7. Manage fiber deployment programs across multiple market segments.
8. Monitor material management and ensure alignment with project schedules and cost controls.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure build requirements align with market agreements.
10. Promote company culture, fostering collaboration, open communication, and accountability across teams.
11. May perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing fiber construction builds and related infrastructure programs.
• Proven experience leading telecommunications fiber build projects and managing infrastructure service providers.

• Strong understanding of Outside Plant (OSP) design and construction practices.
• Proficiency in engineering and project management tools.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Process improvement mindset.

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Telecom, Cable, or Internet Service Provider (ISP) industry experience.
