Full-Time Sr. Project Manager

Canyon GBS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cutting-edge, AI-powered SaaS technology projects. As part of a fast-growing startup, you will work closely with the founder and a talented team to achieve critical company objectives.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals, drive innovation, and ensure our solutions exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously from initiation to closure.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and the critical path.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and senior management.
• Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies.
• Facilitate effective collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Salary Range: $91,000 - $120,000

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the tech industry managing complex projects.
• Proven experience in delivering AI-powered or software technology projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., SharePoint, Jira, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience working with clients in higher education, public sector, non-profits, or large enterprises is a plus.
• Ability to travel as needed to represent Canyon GBS in the public eye globally with customers, partners, investors, and the community.
