Sr. Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure project and team objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Coordinates cross-functional projects and assumes a leadership role in shaping priorities, setting and tracking schedules, driving issue resolution, and ensuring quality. Requires strong Project Management skills, proven experience with applying Agile methodologies in software development, direct experience in leading the software development lifecycle, and a proven experience managing key customer relationships and project details.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely and accurate delivery of contract deliverables across multiple projects.
- Manages complex Data Services installations (domestic and international).
- Leads and facilitates project "kick-off" sessions.
- Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks; provides early visibility to at-risk schedules/milestones.
- Provides supportive analysis impacting resource utilization.
- Builds detailed project plans and schedules; independently manages day-to-day operational aspects of multiple, large-scale projects.
- Directs and coordinates project personnel to ensure project progress.
- Influences across project scope without direct authority.
- Works through ambiguous situations and guides to tactical resolutions.
- Maintains an overall program-level risk and issue log.
- Facilitates risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Aligns to strategic client needs and best practices.
- Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with stakeholders.
- Provides routine updates to senior leadership (client and GHX).
- Coordinates and manages team members.
- Provides leadership, mentoring, and motivation to project team members.
- Holds team members accountable.
- Assists teams with project best practices, techniques, and tools.
- Identifies and facilitates process improvement opportunities.
- Maintains product knowledge for efficient delivery.
- Contributes different thoughts, ideas, and viewpoints for greater innovation.
Key Skills/Competencies:
- ERP/MMIS experience
Required Education, Certifications, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years experience in project leadership
- 5+ years experience with software development, implementation, or integration projects (leadership or major team contributor)
- IT Project Management using SDLC or Agile scrum
- Advanced knowledge of project management methods and Lifecycle Management

Estimated salary range: $98,300 - $130,500
