About the job We’re seeking a Product Manager with a finance background, strong analytical skills, and excellent business judgment. You'll be passionate about automating Hopper's financial reporting.
Reporting to the VP of Finance Operations and Control, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization. You'll manage the FinAut team (developers) focused on Finance Automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and implement the FinAut roadmap (Data Engineering & Solutions Engineering) with the Head of Finance Engineering and key stakeholders.
- Identify FinAut projects to contribute to the finance organization, considering business risks and growth areas.
- Define, scope, and gather requirements for all FinAut projects.
- Prioritize and manage daily engineering on-call requests.
- Track FinAut project status and performance against roadmap and goals.
- Provide a business/finance perspective for technical implementation plans and decisions.
- Own reporting on data integrity of the ledger, the single source of truth for financial reporting. This includes collaboration with business/product teams on data issues.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of product management experience, preferably in financial data products.
- Proven track record of building and enhancing products used by diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills with data analysis capabilities. Strong SQL knowledge is required.
- Technical depth to effectively communicate with software developers and key finance stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support business growth.
