Full-Time Sr. SAP S4 IT Project Manager

The Sr. SAP S4 IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing SAP S4 projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Planning: Plan and manage a portfolio of large-scale, mission-critical technology projects across multiple functional areas. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
2. Execution: Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
3. Leadership: Lead the implementation of SAP S4 projects, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
4. Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks and issues and develop contingency plans.
5. Budget Management: Manage project budget, track project costs, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
6. Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards and business requirements.
7. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
8. Team Management: Lead, coach, and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to SAP S4 systems.

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of recent SAP Project Management experience
• Proficiency in SAP S4 Finance and OTC modules, SAP configuration, and integration with other SAP modules.
• 5+ years of data gathering/analysis and writing system requirements
• Experience working with test plans and test cases

Preferred:

• Strong infrastructure background or System Analyst background - technical concepts and details.
• Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to present to senior & executive leaders.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully delivering SAP S4 Finance projects.
• Demonstrated logical and analytical problem-solving skills; rigorous approach to project management to deliver enterprise-level projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES

• Proven thorough understanding of the following:
• Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
• Proficiency with MS Project
• Proficiency with MS Visio
• Consumer Packaged Goods and/or manufacturing Industry experience is helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employees
• Must demonstrate effective leadership, problem solving, presentation, and employee motivational skills
• Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Salary range: $122,600 - $169,000 (Annually)
