Full-Time Sr. Software Engineer, Growth Engineering

Hims & Hers is seeking a highly motivated, talented, and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their Flow Platform team.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design, medical, marketing, and analytics) to build innovative features that drive growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and executing the design, development, and deployment of high-impact features.
• Building scalable and performant full-stack solutions.
• Mentoring team members and setting best practices for architecture, coding, delivery, and operations.
• Fostering collaboration across teams for reusable, scalable solutions.
• Partnering with stakeholders to make data-driven decisions and optimize performance.
• Contributing to the technical vision of the Category Growth Engineering pods.
• Collaborating with backend and quality engineers for high-quality code.
• Participating in sprint ceremonies and process refinement.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a growth-focused environment.
• Proven experience in building scalable web applications and services, ideally in a cloud environment.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like React, Next, GraphQL) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Redis).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Strong sense of ownership and bias for action.

Nice to haves:

• Passion for healthcare.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Backend experience in Node/Nest.js and Kotlin.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, GraphQL, and tools like Datadog, Amplitude, Growthbook, and Contentful.
• Expertise in Domain Driven Microservice Architectures and Micro Front-Ends.
