ServiceNow is seeking a driven Pre-Sales Security Solution Consultant. The Security Solution Consultant will provide expertise to support customers during sales engagements.
You will partner with sales, solution consulting, and the ServiceNow ecosystem to achieve customer success through thought leadership and driving awareness. This role takes a consultative approach to discover and map business outcome-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Creating innovative solutions leveraging ServiceNow Security Operations (Security Incident Response, Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Response).
- Reviewing customer security architectures, design processes, and system integrations to ServiceNow Security Operations.
- Responding to customer questions about ServiceNow Security Operations.
- Providing lessons learned, strategies, and advice to enhance real-world Security Operations for customers.
- Developing and contributing to sales campaigns focused on Security Operations.
- Contributing to a showcase of Security Operations solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Developing solutions and capabilities to demonstrate Security Operations value to other Solution Consultants.
- Configuring solution environments to address customer requirements.
- Collaborating with Product Management and Development to enhance ServiceNow products.
- Working in a global team, sharing best practices and known solutions.
- Staying current on competitive analyses and differentiators.
- Supporting marketing events (user conferences, trade shows, etc.).
Requirements:
- Strong pre-sales experience. Understanding of the sales process and a trusted advisor for account representatives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience.
- Work experience or strong understanding of SOC, NOC, or CSIRC.
- Strong understanding of Networking and Security technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, etc.).
- Knowledge of attack vectors (DDoS, malware, etc.).
- Experience in security frameworks (NIST 800-61, ISO27035, SANS, etc.).
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks (STIX/TAXII, OpenIOC).
- Strong preference for candidates with information security experience at global enterprises.
- Ability to architect and communicate solutions.
- Understanding of business and technical problems addressed by the products.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, self-directed and independent.
- Desired certifications: CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GSEC, CEH, GIAC.
