We seek a highly motivated Data Scientist to solve complex problems and shape user experience strategies and product decisions through data-driven insights.
You'll join a hybrid UX Research team of Data Scientists, Quantitative Researchers, and Qualitative Researchers.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and investigate complex customer challenges across product areas.
- Autonomously prioritize and execute data and metrics projects to enhance user experience and product adoption.
- Collaborate with Researchers, Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Advance modeling of existing product capabilities (noise reduction, anomaly detection, root cause analysis).
- Explore and analyze existing datasets to generate hypotheses and identify opportunities.
- Present findings to stakeholders in a compelling and actionable manner.
- Provide leadership and direction for large-scale collaborative efforts.
- Champion data analytics and telemetry through best practices and mentoring.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience integrating AI into work processes.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- 6+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or data engineering.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), SQL, and statistical analysis.
- Strong data engineering skills (data processing, cleaning, integration).
- Expertise in statistical techniques for analyzing large datasets and conducting A/B testing.
- Proven ability to develop statistical models.
- Strong business acumen and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn UX culture and adapt to changes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience collaborating with UX Research.
- Expertise in descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistics.
- Background in advanced statistical modeling or machine learning.
- Strong understanding of AI and Generative AI applications.
Compensation:
$192,700 - $337,300, plus equity, variable compensation, and benefits.
