Full-Time Sr. Systems Engineer

• Architect & Implement: Lead the design, implementation, and support of new technology projects.
• Manage Core Platforms: Take ownership of our multi-tenant infrastructure, including VMware, Proxmox, and cloud environments in Azure.
• Optimize & Maintain: Proactively monitor our systems with CheckMK, manage storage on Pure Storage and HPE, and ensure the health of our Citrix delivery platforms.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve: Act as a final escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with a team of skilled engineers to share knowledge, improve processes, and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Provide Critical Support: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support.

• Virtualization: RedHat Openshift, VMware ESXi/vCenter, Proxmox VE
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS)
• Application & Desktop Delivery: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix NetScaler (ADC)
• Storage: Pure Storage, HPE
• Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux
• Monitoring: CheckMK or similar enterprise monitoring tools
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years in a system engineering role, with MSP experience preferred.
• Problem-Solver: Logical thinker with a talent for identifying the root cause of an issue.
• Ownership: You are a self-starter who can work independently.
• Resilience: You perform well under pressure.
• Certifications: Industry certifications like Azure Solutions Architect Expert, MCSE, VCP, or CCP are highly desirable.
• Availability: You must be able to work Eastern Time (EST) business hours and be available for occasional night/weekend work as part of the on-call rotation.
