About the Role: We’re hiring a Platform Engineer to join our growing team at PromptQL. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining our entire cloud infrastructure with the goal of making it simple for all our engineering teams to get their ideas into the hands of our customers quickly and reliably.
You'll be a key part of a team of full-stack engineers who build primitives, workflows, and systems that other teams use to deploy and manage their services in production. You'll be the expert everyone consults to ensure our services are scalable and operating reliably.
We leverage our own AI agents, built with PromptQL, to automate routine tasks like production releases and incident response, allowing us to focus on building state-of-the-art multi-cloud infrastructure. You'll use tools like Pulumi and Terraform to manage resources across AWS, GCP, and Azure, building a robust platform that works both on our own cloud accounts and our customers' accounts (BYOC). You'll also work closely with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ClickHouse, and Honeycomb to build the pipelines and dashboards that help us analyze and respond to production behavior.
Role Requirements:
- You have 3+ years of experience working as a Platform, SRE, or DevOps Engineer.
- You have hands-on experience building and maintaining infrastructure in at least one of the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure). You’re also experienced with using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi to manage cloud resources.
- You’re proficient in at least one programming language like Python, Go, or Rust.
- You have experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Honeycomb, or ClickHouse and you’re comfortable with building monitoring pipelines, dashboards, and alerts.
- You have excellent communication skills and you’re comfortable working directly with customers to help them deploy and manage software in their environments.
Bonus Points:
- You are excited about leveraging AI agents and automation to eliminate toil and manual operations work.
- You've worked with Hasura/DDN previously.
- You are comfortable working directly with external customers to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure smooth deployments.
