Full-Time Staff Data Scientist

Each year, healthcare generates over $200B in claims mispayments. Machinify's AI platform increases claims processing speed and accuracy.

Our team builds machine learning models for large health plans to identify and audit claims errors (from simple mistakes to fraud).

What You'll Do:

• Master Claim Audits: Analyze clinical and coding audits, understand audit decisions, and past outcomes.
• Model Advancement: Create labeled data, develop ML models for claims selection.
• Optimize Impact: Rigorously measure model performance, translate outcomes into insights, and provide recommendations.
• Tame Complexity: Refine intricate data pipelines for robust modeling.
• Drive Team Success: Improve data pipelines, modeling infrastructure, and team tools.
• Grow with Healthcare: Gain healthcare data expertise, refine model insights with clients and experts.

What You Bring:

• Experience solving business problems with data-driven optimization and ML.
• Experience measuring and optimizing the business impact of work.
• SQL expertise, handling large-scale data, and experience with a programming language (Python, R).
• Experience building ML models using modern approaches (neural nets, tree-ensembles).
