We seek an experienced Staff Database Reliability Engineer to join our SRE team, focusing on ensuring performance, reliability, and security of our database & related systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automation tools and scripts to improve database provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and maintenance workflows.
- Collaborate with developers to design and implement database schemas and applications that meet reliability and performance requirements.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to meet RPO & RTO objectives.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical database and related infrastructure issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the R&D team.
- Implement and manage high availability solutions for hybrid hosted database environments.
