Full-Time Staff DevOps Engineer

Support the Cyber Security IAM Software Development team.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating and developing on-prem and cloud-based IAM services to reduce cyber risk.
• Applying architectural knowledge and a balanced solution approach with strong communication skills.
• Mentoring team members and managing the SDLC using automated processes and tools.
• Interfacing with business customers to solve identity challenges.
• Creating technical solutions meeting business objectives and compliance goals.
• Partnering with technology and security teams across NBCU.
• Raising risks in legacy authentication implementations and defining secure designs.
• Creating and delivering high-level presentations.
• Participating in solution and product evaluations.
• Maintaining vendor awareness and introducing new technologies.

Qualifications:

• Required Experience: 8 years as a Software Developer, Solution Architect, or related role.
• Required Skills (8+ years): Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, Microsoft .NET in Agile methodology, Azure services (Functional and Logic Apps, API Management, DevOps Repo and Pipelines, Service Bus, Data Factory, custom Azure API and Web service development).
• Required Skills (5+ years): Solutions architecture, Cloud computing administration/architecture, SysAdmin and DB Admin experience (Windows, SQL, and Oracle), Cloud solutions design and development in a large enterprise, MS Azure Architecture and Engineering, Agile software development.
• Required Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Legacy), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or similar.
• Education: Master's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field (or foreign degree equivalent).
