Role: Collaborates with engineering leadership and internal stakeholders on DevOps roadmap definition, value proposition clarity, and tradeoffs. Operates with high autonomy.
Responsibilities: Guides engineers on DevOps best practices (observability, monitoring, alerting, SLO/SLI's, CI/CD, IAC, performance, security). Builds, optimizes, and maintains CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies; manages vendor integrations and infrastructure. Leads cross-functional initiatives with SRE, security, and development teams. Delivers solutions for critical projects (cloud migration, disaster recovery, infrastructure scaling). Owns technical decisions, driving cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability strategies aligned with Zippy's vision.
Requirements:
- 10+ years DevOps experience
- 5+ years AWS infrastructure production experience
- 3+ years Terraform production experience
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, observability tooling, security best practices, disaster recovery, and DevOps vendor relationships.
- Proficient with AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Datadog, and Postgres.
