NBCUniversal has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to become a Staff Engineering Project Manager.
Focus: Supporting Enterprise Technology division.
This role will work on large, complex software projects affecting a large part of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple programs and large projects.
- Develop and maintain project scope, schedule, and budgets.
- Manage and update detailed project plans, roadmaps, and trackers to monitor progress.
- Communicate project expectations, risks, and escalations effectively and timely.
- Manage project resource capacity.
- Plan and maintain mitigation strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
- Communicate weekly and monthly project status.
- Provide input towards process improvement.
Basic Requirements:
- Education: B.S./B.A. degree or equivalent.
- Experience: 10+ years leading complex software/infrastructure projects.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet).
- Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and account migrations.
- Understanding of software and infrastructure engineering technologies.
- Strong leadership skills coordinating global teams.
- Adaptability and ability to lead under pressure.
- Desire to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Desired Characteristics:
- PMP or CSM certification.
- Media entertainment industry experience.
- AWS or Azure cloud certification/deep understanding.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Results-oriented and initiative.
Additional Requirements:
- Fully Remote position.

- Salary range: $110,000 - $155,000 (bonus eligible).
