Full-Time Staff Front-End Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Technical Strategy & Vision: Shape and drive the technical direction of the frontend platform across teams. Make critical architectural decisions for the frontend ecosystem, establishing scalable patterns and practices.
• Design System Architecture: Lead the evolution of the component library and design system architecture. Define standards for reusability, accessibility, and performance.
• Drive Innovation: Identify and champion transformative frontend initiatives. Lead the adoption of new technologies and approaches to improve developer productivity and application performance.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership across teams, mentor senior engineers, and influence organization-wide frontend practices. Advise product and engineering leadership.

What We Need:

• Advanced Technical Expertise: Deep mastery of Angular, RxJS, and modern frontend architecture patterns. Proven track record of solving complex challenges with innovative solutions.
• Enterprise Architecture: Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale Angular applications for significant user bases. Understanding of micro-frontend architectures, module federation, and scalable state management.
• UI Architecture Excellence: Expert knowledge of advanced CSS architecture patterns, design systems, and web performance optimization. Experience establishing standards for accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Quality & Testing Leadership: Proven ability to establish testing strategies and frameworks across multiple teams. Experience with automated testing infrastructures and effective testing patterns for complex Angular applications.
• Performance & Optimization: Deep expertise in frontend performance optimization, bundle size management, and application scalability. Experience with advanced debugging and profiling.
• Technical Strategy: Demonstrated ability to create and execute technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Cross-team Impact: Track record of successfully leading technical initiatives spanning multiple teams and applications.

Preferred:

• 12+ years of software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in GraphQL architecture patterns
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services and cloud-native architectures
• Deep expertise in build tooling optimization and deployment strategies
• Background in implementing large-scale design systems
• Experience with advanced Angular patterns like custom decorators
• Expertise in frontend security best practices
• Track record of mentoring senior engineers
• Experience with frontend architecture in cloud-native environments
