Full-Time Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Warner Music Group is seeking talented Machine Learning Engineers to join our Data Science and Data Platform teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong understanding of the business problems.
• Identify business problems amenable to machine learning solutions, own models end-to-end (define, design, train, evaluate, launch, maintain, improve).
• Identify systems for scaling model training, iteration, and serving.
• Design, implement, and launch systems for efficient, high-quality, reliable, and repeatable model experimentation in a large-scale environment (2+TB incoming data per day, 20+PB corpus).
• Mentor junior MLEs and Data Scientists.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define project objectives and deliverables.

Requirements:

• 9+ years of experience building scaled ML systems, training large ML models, or equivalent.
• Excellent coding and system design skills.
• Strong practical ML knowledge, working knowledge of ML theory.
• Experience with LLMs and other AI techniques.
• High sense of ownership and ability to deliver impact in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence roadmaps and ML strategy.
• Experience with cloud computing services (preferably AWS).
• Experience with Snowflake and Databricks is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree or above in a quantitative field.
