Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive technical initiatives impacting company and area-level directions.
- Partner with the Engineering Manager and all engineering teams.
- Provide accountability for technical initiatives.
- Develop an effective technical strategy with technical leaders.
- Serve as a reference for Engineering teams regarding Reliability, Resiliency, High Availability, Scalability, Observability, Performance, and Incident Response.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching.
- Participate in the incident response and management process.
Requirements:
- Solid technical background related to cloud infrastructure and SDLC.
- Experience supporting engineering teams in technical discussions.
- Lean, proactive, and value-driven mindset.
- Experience with web applications and complex systems.
- Relational database expertise.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC.
- 4+ years of SRE experience: observability, incident management, performance improvements, SLO implementation.
- Experience in cross-team initiatives.
