About the Role
We're seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Applications Platform team, which powers core backend services. You'll design and build scalable systems for multiple verticals, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and future growth. As a technical leader, you'll drive architectural decisions, mentor team members, and play a critical role in shaping our platform to enable teams to provide exceptional value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable work experience.
- 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Demonstrable experience in technical leadership and mentorship.
- Experience delivering highly scalable, reliable, available, and performant systems.
- Success building positive relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of modern applications design architecture, API design, security, performance, and scaling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at early or growth-stage companies.
- Data-driven decision-making experience.
- Experience with AWS or similar platforms.
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and Kafka.
