Full-Time Staff Software Engineer

Role: We seek a strong manager with leadership experience to manage a developer team. As a Staff Software Engineer on the Expert iQ team, you'll build and optimize web applications connecting legal professionals with expert witnesses.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage developer team, providing technical guidance.
2. Collaborate with engineering to enhance web applications and best practices.
3. Work with cross-functional teams for innovative solutions.
4. Participate in existing and new development, focusing on user needs.
5. Develop and maintain secure web application APIs.
6. Solve complex technical challenges, including re-architecture.
7. Embrace new technologies and frameworks.
8. Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
9. Utilize cloud platforms for optimized performance.
10. Deliver high-quality solutions with testing (unit, integration, end-to-end).

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience managing developer teams.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and NX.
• Server-side language/framework experience (NodeJS, Python, C#, or Java).
• Strong SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL database skills.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) knowledge.
• Familiarity with authentication standards (OAuth, SAML, OIDC) is a plus.
• AI integrations (Gemini, ChatGPT) experience is a bonus.
