Polygon Labs contributes to scaling protocols like Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Polygon Miden (development).
Your RoleYou'll build software used by millions on Polygon PoS, a popular blockchain. The team focuses on a simple, EVM-compatible scaling solution connected to the AggLayer. Responsibilities include developing, running, and maintaining the protocol and software clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Client and protocol research and development.
- Tracking upstream Ethereum improvements.
- Contributing to testing tools (testnets, end-to-end/load testing).
- Collaboration with internal/external teams for development, testing, and rollout.
- Mentoring junior developers.
Required Skills and Experience
- GoLang Mastery
- Ethereum Research Experience
- Mentoring/training experience
- Understanding of Ethereum Virtual Machine, storage, and consensus
- Experience with Ethereum clients (Geth, Erigon, Reth)
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years experience; 3+ years in Ethereum
- Strong written/verbal communication
- EIP contributions (a plus)
