Full-Time Staff Software Engineer - Emerging Tech

ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a talented Staff Software Engineer to update and maintain internal core services using modern technologies. This role includes leading a team of full-stack developers and QA engineers.

This position reports to the Director of Engineering - Emerging Technologies. You'll leverage expertise in technology to select and implement the latest technologies, architectural frameworks, and design patterns.

Who you are:

A hands-on, outcome-oriented engineer with extensive experience leading and supporting modern backend technologies. Strong partnership with product teams is essential.

What you will do:

• Lead mission-critical projects and deliver platform capabilities.
• Own one or more products/platform spaces.
• Collaborate with partners and customers for feedback.
• Develop and grow engineering skills.
• Influence architecture, technology selections, and trends.
• Collaborate with team to design, peer review code, and optimize.
• Champion continuous deployment through quality engineering practices (linting, unit/e2e testing, pipeline automation).
• Collaborate with product teams to build and maintain design systems.
• Create reference implementations for mentorship.
• Define best practices and provide technical mentorship.
• Investigate and resolve production issues (UI to service layer).
• Work with project managers to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills and Competencies

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• Strong communication skills

• Expert with .NET (from Framework to Core)
