Full-Time Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack

The Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team creates consumer-grade digital experiences. Leveraging the latest technologies, and built on ServiceNow’s intelligent platform, we deliver a seamless, personalized experience for customers. Our products power digital business and can become commercially available.

As a Staff Software Engineer within DCX, you will build high-quality, secure, scalable, and reusable code. Grow our business by bringing internal products to the world. Implement software that empowers internal customers to extend functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop best-in-class technical designs with Engineering Managers and Architects.
• Design and develop high-quality applications leveraging the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop across the full stack (JavaScript, AngularJS, React, HTML, CSS, SQL).
• Work in a Scrum-based Agile development process.
• Design and implement simple, intuitive, and user-friendly software.
• Translate requirements and mock-ups into functional features.
• Build rich, modern web and mobile web experiences.
• Mentor and groom lead engineers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience with AI integration.
• 8+ years of industry experience, 3+ years leading a high-performing team.
• 5+ years of experience with Java or JavaScript plus front-end technologies.
• Expertise in architectural models (domain-driven design, microservices, event-driven, micro-frontends).
• In-depth knowledge of technology stacks: Cloud providers (Azure, AWS), messaging platforms (Kafka, Boomi), languages (Java, JavaScript), UI frameworks (Angular, React), monitoring systems (Splunk, Catchpoint), essential cloud services (API gateways, CDN) and web technologies.
• Strong experience in building smart systems with AI & ML.
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform (preferred).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
