As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll build high-quality, secure, scalable, and reusable code. Bring internal products to the world and simplify employee/customer workflows.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing high-quality applications using the ServiceNow platform.
- Developing across web technologies (JavaScript, AngularJS, React, HTML, CSS, SQL).
- Working in a Scrum-based Agile process.
- Designing user-friendly software.
- Translating requirements into features.
- Building modern, accessible web experiences.
- Mentoring lead engineers.
Essential skills and experience:
- 8+ years of industry experience, 3+ years leading high-performing teams.
- 5+ years of experience with Java or JavaScript and front-end technologies (AngularJS or React).
- Understanding of architectural models (e.g., domain-driven design, microservices).
- Deep knowledge of multiple technology stacks (cloud providers, messaging platforms, languages, UI frameworks, monitoring systems, essential cloud services, web technologies).
- Experience integrating AI into work processes and problem-solving.
- ServiceNow platform expertise (preferred).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
