The Opportunity
Cint is searching for a Staff Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role as our products grow and evolve. You will be a technical lead who partners with leadership to drive best practices and the evolution of our products at Cint. This role is ideal for an engineer who wants to impact technical decisions as a leader, support teams as a mentor and coach, and retain the ability to individually contribute to code and architecture.

- Develop high-quality code, establish development standards, and practice by example.
- Contribute and establish engineering standards, and drive design reviews and RFCs across distributed teams and with peers across the org
- Contribute to architecture roadmap and technical solutions for new and existing functionality by extensively collaborating with other principal engineers.
- Provide guidance and support across Distributed teams across EU, North and South America
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to analyze and suggest solutions based on requirements.
- Advocate for their value and negotiate with Product Management to prioritize architectural work.
- Investigate technical options and build proof of concept examples to evaluate technologies. Participate in build versus buy analysis.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members to ensure the team's success. Review engineers' work and make observations.
- Collaborate with the User Experience and Design team to develop user stories, refine user experience
- Implement interfaces and component
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building web applications and user experience products..
- Solid CSS knowledge
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience with REST APIs
- Experience building web applications with responsive design
- Experience building web mobile applications
- Mobile Testing exposure/familiarity
- Experience with NextJS
- High level of autonomy with strong collaboration skills
- A healthy sense of urgency, with an ability to drive towards delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with common design tools such as Figma and Storybook
- Accessibility: WCAG 2.0 AA and AAA
- Experience using an internal design system
- Experience building/contributing an internal design system
- Familiarity of different UI Rendering Architectures (SSR, CSR, SSG, ISR)
- Familiarity or experience on the following Web APIs/Features:
- Microinteractions, CSS or Web Animations API, second best: transitions/framerjs
- Running Functions on the EDGE
- Workbox/Service Workers
- Gaming background
- Push API
- Notifications API
