Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative STEM Engineer to support our educational programs. The primary focus of this role is to design and develop new projects for students, provide technical assistance to teachers, and help facilitate classroom activities. The ideal candidate should have expertise in coding, 3D printing, Fusion 360, and circuit design, with a strong passion for STEM education. Applicants should be able to demonstrate their skills by providing a portfolio of projects they have designed and built.
- Design and develop engaging STEM projects for students of various age groups.
- Support teachers by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance.
- Assist in the classroom to ensure students can successfully complete hands-on projects.
- Use 3D printing, CNC machines, and laser cutting to fabricate project components.
- Develop CAD designs using Fusion 360 for educational projects.
- Design and prototype electronic circuits for student projects.
- Teach students basic technical skills related to coding, robotics, and circuit design.
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of lab equipment.
- Document project designs and create instructional materials for students and teachers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related STEM field.
- Strong proficiency in coding (Python, Arduino, or similar).
- Experience with 3D printing, including slicing software and printer maintenance.
- Proficiency in Fusion 360 for CAD design and prototyping.
- Experience with circuit design and PCB development (preferred).
- Familiarity with CNC machines, laser cutters, and other fabrication tools (preferred).
- Ability to develop innovative and educational STEM projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Passion for education and working with students in a hands-on learning environment.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (both spoken and written).
