Full-Time Sustainability Services Manager

Key Responsibilities (approx. 75%):

• Delivering established sustainability services to bluesign clients (e.g., product footprinting, LCA, sustainability reporting).
• Improving and expanding sustainability services.

Additional Tasks (approx. 25%):

• Supporting bluesign SYSTEM PARTNERS and employees with helpdesk and webinars.
• Participating in bluesign R&D projects as assigned.
• Contributing to the revision and creation of bluesign CRITERIA guidance sheets/factsheets.
• Acting as a subject matter expert for e-learning modules.
• Supporting technical marketing with content.
• Building a consultant team for revenue-generating sustainability services.
• Managing the sustainability services budget.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in related fields (e.g., chemical, textile).
• Strong consulting and industry servicing experience (LCA calculation, corporate carbon footprinting, sustainability reporting).
• Master's degree in environmental/chemical/process engineering.
• Proven knowledge in cleaner production/production-integrated environmental protection.
• Understanding of environmental impact assessment (water, energy, emissions).
• Experience in facility-level environmental and OH&S management.
• Profound knowledge of management systems and Best Available Technology (BAT).
• Expert in writing expert reports in English.
• Strong client focus, results-driven, collaborative, and excellent communication skills.
• Presentation and teaching abilities.
• Strong English (written), MS Office, and Excel skills.
• Willingness for further qualifications.
