Contractor TAS Telehealth Medical Practitioner

Alternaleaf is seeking dedicated Doctors to join our team on a contract or permanent basis in a part-time or full-time capacity. We are open to all Medical Practitioners.

Telehealth Consultations: Conduct consultations via Amazon Connect, prescribing alternative treatment plans for various physical and mental conditions.

Work-Life Balance: Choose your own hours and days, ensuring a perfect work-life balance.

Work From Home: Work from anywhere in Australia (excluding South Australia).

Comprehensive Training: We provide full training, including assistance with gaining your Authorised Prescriber Licence (costs covered). SAGED accredited courses count towards CPD hours.

Dedicated Support: Clinical support and education available throughout clinical hours by our Doctor Support Team.

Competitive Compensation: Base salary for permanent, consult rate for contract.

Requirements:

• Medical Degree
• General registration with AHPRA (no restrictions)
• Full working rights - Australian based
• Experience working within the Australian healthcare system
• Authorised Prescriber (AP) for medicinal cannabis (preferred but not mandatory)
• Minimum 15.2 hours/week availability
• Medical Indemnity Insurance (covering telehealth & Schedule 8 medications)
• Medicare Provider Number
• Excellent communication, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
