Job Details
Tax Associate (Contract)
You are a Tax associate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Compensation: $35 - $38/hour
Location: Hybrid role in San Rafael, CA
Responsibilities:
- Prepare multi-state tax returns for individuals and corporations
- Assist with tax planning and compliance
- Support month-end tax reconciliations and reporting
- Prepare complex tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary)
- Involvement in the professional services process, from intake to client meetings and preparation
Qualifications:
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA preferred
- 3-4 years of tax preparation experience preferred
- UltraTax software experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills and QuickBooks preferred
