We are developing a Food Certification platform supporting Global GAP, 2nd Party, Organics, and more. Our goal is to streamline the certification process from booking to execution and quality improvement, helping customers ensure their food products and processes meet stringent standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as direct manager for the development team, overseeing daily activities, providing guidance, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Lead performance evaluations, set goals, and provide professional development and mentoring opportunities.
- Facilitate regular one-on-one meetings to assess performance, address concerns, and provide feedback.
- Assist in software rollout, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
- Support, troubleshoot, and resolve issues demonstrating technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Persistently improve code quality and test coverage, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Technical Requirements:
- 8+ years of demonstrable experience in Java.
- In-depth understanding of design patterns and thread-safe code creation.
- Solid grasp of domain-driven design, Microservices, and distributed architectures.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Web, JSP, Angular V1.5 & V15+ or other associated versions.
- Experience with Agile development processes (development cycles, demos, retros, code reviews, mob programming, backlog grooming, regular releases).
- Utilization of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Aliyun, GCP).
Experience:
Experience as a Technical Lead and Engineering Manager, guiding and mentoring the development team, ensuring code quality, aligning technical direction with business goals, promoting best practices, and managing daily team operations.
Education:
Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
Other requirements: Exceptional professional communication skills, supporting effective dialogue and collaboration.
