We are seeking a talented Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead customer's manufacturing test development projects, including test software, hardware, and integration, for data center manufacturing test development projects. You will network with multiple customer teams, suppliers, engineers, and experts to maximize support.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing data center test infrastructure projects through planning, development, and deployment to support NPI manufacturing
- Managing test strategy, schedule, budget, risk, procurement, logistics, and integration for manufacturing test solutions, aligning with NPI program schedules
- Coordinating supplier selection for test fixture components and JDM partner solutions
- Driving communication with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contract manufacturers for problem identification, issue escalation, solution creation, and improvement implementation
- Maintaining and co-authoring technical documentation (test plans, processes, initiatives), creating presentations, dashboards, and requirements documents
- Evaluating technological strategies, understanding stakeholder requirements, and assessing test implications to support Averna sales and build customer confidence for expanded business opportunities
- Creating information demonstrating team capabilities, including industry trends, standards, and typical challenges in manufacturing testing
Ideal candidate qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, industrial engineering or manufacturing related field
- 5+ years experience in project management in high-visibility, strategic areas with strong written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- 5+ years experience with manufacturing test industries
- Experience with different testing approaches (functional, performance, stress) in manufacturing
- Experience managing suppliers and partners in implementing test requirements
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing frameworks
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
- (Preferred) Manufacturing test design experience
- (Preferred) Experience working across cultures and time zones
- Communication: Ability to work in a customer-facing role, excellent verbal and written communication, and professional interaction with diverse teams
- (Preferred) Creates a method of change management, including ownership of documentation, communication plans, process training
- Strong ownership of responsibilities and skilled at escalating issues when necessary
- High fluency in English written & spoken
- Mobility: Might have to travel up to 5% of the time or when required by the customer
- Schedule: Flexible schedule and location, must be able to support the customer's Pacific time zone (GMT-7) and contract manufacturer's East Asian time zones (GMT+8) working hours
