We are seeking a talented Technical Project Manager (TPM) as lead subject matter expert for customer's manufacturing test development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage data center test infrastructure projects.
- Manage test strategy, schedule, budget, risk, procurement, logistics, and integration for manufacturing test solutions.
- Coordinate supplier selection for test fixture components and JDM partner solutions.
- Drive communication with stakeholders, vendors, and contract manufacturers.
- Maintain and co-author technical documentation (test plans, processes, presentations, dashboards, requirements).
- Evaluate technological strategies by understanding stakeholder requirements and test implications.
- Support Averna sales by creating customer confidence for expanded business opportunities, including creating materials showcasing engineering capabilities, industry trends, standards, and challenges.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing.
- 5+ years of project management experience in high-visibility, strategic areas.
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test industries.
- Experience with different testing approaches (functional, performance, stress) in manufacturing.
- Experience managing suppliers and partners.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and testing frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Manufacturing test design experience (preferred).
- Experience working across cultures and time zones.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to create a change management method including ownership of documentation, communication plans, process training.
- Strong ownership of responsibilities, and skilled at escalating issues.
- High fluency in English.
Mobility: Up to 5% travel may be required.
Schedule: Flexible schedule and location, supporting customer's Pacific Time Zone (GMT-7) and contract manufacturer's East Asian time zones (GMT+8) hours.
