Value-add responsibilities: In the context of the Business Analyst role, "work that matters" centers on ensuring clients have a positive and successful experience with the company's products and services. This includes:
- Supporting projects of all sizes, working with new and established clients to deliver new solutions and features.
- Supporting internal projects as needed, working exclusively with internal stakeholders.
- Working closely with clients to fully understand and capture requirements to define the solution.
- Attending workshops and leading requirement discussions both in-person at client locations and remotely.
- Communicating technical information in a way that's easy for non-technical audiences to understand.
- Defining, analyzing, and clearly documenting requirements, ensuring documentation is maintained to a high standard to deliver quality outcomes.
- Liaising with the development team to ensure requirements are fully understood and to answer any queries raised.
- Troubleshooting and identifying alternative solutions to overcome requirements that aren't technically or financially feasible.
- Supporting the technical setup of the solution.
- Reviewing formal testing results to validate the solution aligns with agreed requirements.
- Assisting with user acceptance testing (UAT) and system integration testing (SIT).
- Assisting with post-go-live performance reviews to evaluate success and recommend improvements.
- Acting as a general consultant on all requirement and technical matters throughout the project lifecycle.
Required experience and qualifications: Proven experience in client delivery, client success, or a related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 3+ years of experience in a business analyst role. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development or web technologies. Understanding of change management principles.
