In this pivotal role, you’ll set the technical direction and elevate the performance of a high-performing engineering team. You’ll work hands-on to design scalable, secure systems, mentor engineers, and champion continuous improvement — all while ensuring our platform is aligned with the broader mission of delivering personalized alternative health services to thousands of patients.
What You’ll Do
- Lead with purpose – Set strategic direction and drive technical excellence across major projects and systems.
- Code with confidence – Design and build scalable solutions using React, Node.js/NestJS, GraphQL, AWS, and more.
- Mentor & elevate – Uplift the skills and capabilities of the team through coaching, code reviews, and pairing sessions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally – Partner with engineering managers, product teams, and business stakeholders to turn ideas into impactful solutions.
- Champion best practices – Lead architectural decisions, ensure clean, testable code, and continuously improve tooling and delivery processes.
- Drive innovation – Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reduce tech debt, and explore emerging technologies.
